Were the locations always in England? I'm wondering about this scene: /vehicle_123680-Ford-Taunus-TC1-1971.html Both cars were not officially available in the U.K. The shown Rekord is obviously LHD, too. |

It was meant to be Germany (across the east/west border at that time), but I always thought it was filmed in a forest somewhere in the UK, just using cars from germany |

To stronghold 24.10.2007.................... The white aeroplane is a Fairchild-Swearingen Merlin III B. Identifiable by the fact it has four-bladed propellers (Merlin II and early III's had 3-bladers) and the registration marking G-IIIB ! to stronghold 29.10.2007................. The blue/white aeroplane is a Piper Cherokee Six. Probably from stock footage because it has a Kenyan (5Y- ) registration marking. The airliner with vans around it is a McDonnell Douglas DC-8. The airliner in the middle is obviously a Boeing 747-200. |

I'm guessing there was a promotion on for Watches in episode 4.07, as the storyline (and camera!) spend alot of time lingering on close up's of the flashy time pieces they're wearing. Bodie's watch is damaged in a fight, so he's presented with a new watch at the end of this episode Helicopters (also from eps. 4.07) + a circa 1980 Police interceptor -- Last edit: 2008-07-21 10:18:31 |
