A Wheel Horse! A friend of mine has one that's very similar (I'd say it's a bit older than this one, he bought it new in 1966!). We used it two days ago. It still looks new and I love the sound of it's small 8 HP Kohler engine. They just don't built things like that today! -- Last edit: 2007-04-05 05:03:36 |

I have a Wheel Horse c-111 . Not too shabby of a little mower. I love that it has a rear discharge. The turning radius is not so good. Looks like the mower deck is a little too high, and also the grass is already cut! -- Last edit: 2011-12-17 01:22:29 |

The Wheel Horse is a model of Toro, so we should list this as Toro Wheel Horse C-111. |

Wrong, Wheel Horse was an independent manufacturer until purchased by Toro in 1986. I have a friend that restores and collects old Wheel Horses -- Last edit: 2012-04-09 01:56:10 |

Okay, you got a point. Now that I think about it, this is a C-141, rather than a C-111 http://www.tractorshed.com/gallery/tphotos/a6823.jpg |

The tractor is a 1974-75 Wheel Horse "Raider 14", not a C-141. Hood decals are wrong. The only other possibility is a C-100 or C-120. C-141 had the gas tank in the back, this one is under the hood and looks to be black, making it 1974-75. Also, its a Belgium model, due to the odd steering wheel. Anyone have a link to the video anymore? I'm interested in seeing the actual clip. |
