Finished episode 1.00. Yecch! I really hate this weepie-crap, but there is barely anything left for me to do. The pilot (as well as the Season 2 premiere) was broadcast in two parts, which I both listed as 1.00. One (or two?) down, 327 to go...One thing's for sure - I will do this series once and never again! Need I explain why? -- Last edit: 2018-04-14 15:10:01 |

Martin Semmelrogge. |

Unfortunately, never heard about him. |
◊ 2018-04-19 19:47 |
You did not miss much. His father was quite a capable actor while he himself is rather not. Nevertheless, he managed to participate in one remarkable movie at least: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Das_Boot |

So I saw him in that film, but never knew, that it was him) |

For some reason, the newspapers in this series are always really strange: For example, look at the price in Russia: "Saxony: Dwarves riot": "Wanted: Berlin's prettiest man" but the entire article is about broadcasting rights of the soccer championship in France: -- Last edit: 2018-06-09 17:43:28 |

I can't control what has been approved in the past, but I would guess that it became too much of an issue that a rule was made about it. You can add to the comments if you feel that strongly about it. |

Season 5 complete. According to IMDb there should be one more episode, but that was the only one aired in September, and on the same day Season 6 premiered. Not very likely that they finished S5 and started S6 on the same day. Since Season 3 the series begins in the late summer (August/September) and finishes early the next summer (May/June) EDIT June 11, 2019: I've watched 5.32 and as to not confuse people, I'll be listing the episodes as they're listed on IMDb. @admins I had posted some replacements, but it seems the cars hadn't been replaced. |
◊ 2019-02-15 20:52 |
The ones left unreplaced might be with same role but from a newer episode, so not worth changing the current main pic. |
◊ 2019-02-15 21:00 |
The Frontera should definitely be replaced. The blue Astra Caravan was barely used at all, basically the guy was just getting in it. The red one's role wasn't much bigger, but at least it more substantially used in that scene and seen more. In my opinion, if they have the same role but are more than just a piece of scenery (like the blue Caravan) they should be replaced. -- Last edit: 2019-02-15 23:24:51 |

Now with lots of time on my hands I considered continuing to do this series. Unfortunately SAT1 Gold doesn't seem to work anymore. Even stranger, the episode will play on my phone but not on the desktop, meaning I have to go the extra mile to mirror my iPhone to my computer and take captures that way (preferrably horizontally placed or the pictures will most likely come out small and squished) However, this does making capping easier as I no longer have to press Command+Shift+3 at the precise moment (yes, that's how every single picture on this page was made!) and can just pause, tap the screen to hide the toolbar and take pictures. I might give it a try tomorrow. I hope the quality will turn out to be the same when I resize them to 720p. |

I don't understand why the Mitsubishi keeps getting deleted despite being two stars. It's revealed to be such in the E46 pic (which of course I didn't use) And there's certainly enough if it visible to be identified. -- Last edit: 2020-05-29 13:53:49 |

Reading the "Dauertest" (test of time) of the Opel Vectra B, probably in an issue of AUTO BILD: Opel had a serious quality problem in the 90s, I cannot imagine that it was given a positive rating after such a long time. It got better with the Corsa C and Vectra C. This being the Bild, probably written in a very sneering and pretentious tone too... |

Windup motorcycle (and Donald Duck on acid) in episode 8.05: Does anyone know the name of the toy and who manufactured it? I was able to find it online, but mostly only China-made replicas. It's not a version of Schuco's "Charly" |
◊ 2021-08-25 22:50 |
Sold as "MS-709", this looks like one of these Chinese no name mass-production models, that look like replicas but are actually originals. Way younger than it pretends to be, very likely more or less current production at the time of filming. You would also find them offered at fun fairs, souvenir shops and roadhouses. Some neat stuff among them and there was a major German distributor in the 1990s, but I can no longer find them. -- Last edit: 2021-10-05 12:17:06 |
