I gather that these captures from episode 2.02 are from scenes set in Vienna sometime in the past. http://collider.com/the-strain-season-2-episode-2-by-any-means-recap/ Was these scenes even filmed in Canada? Some of the locations are clearly not Toronto or even Montreal, but they could be visual effects shots with backgrounds filmed in a European city. EDIT: So yes, it was filmed in Canada, because the owner of the red Volvo has a rogers.com email address. Link to "imcdb.opencommunity.be" -- Last edit: 2015-07-23 13:29:32 |

Yes, some kind of flashback scene set in 1965 Vienna. |

yes portions or perhaps all of the Vienna scene was filmed in Canada. The CNE (Canadian National Exhibition)grounds are used at the end of the scene where the foot chase stops. The part where the truck is driving off is actually facing east at the CN Tower (it has been blocked out) in the film. If I could figure out how to post pictures I have a shot of my car in front of a green screen at the end of the scene with the CN tower in the background. Some portion of the chase scene may have been filmed in Kingston Ontario as that is where to other 2 Volvo's were transported. |

1.12 1990 Trabant 1.1 with pre-1989 air vents... A good find in Canada I think, even if it's totally anachronistic in that scene set in 1967 in Albania. |

Series fully completed! IMO the novels are much better, especially the fourth season is totally different and superfluous. So I'm going to read the books again 3.07 3.10 The best you could do with a HotWheel... -- Last edit: 2020-10-25 11:35:41 |
