It was originally held in October, hence the name, but as it tends to be quite cold by then (the weather, not the beer!), they moved it up into late September. It lasts for about two weeks, so October still has a fair share. "Mitte-September-bis-Anfang-Oktoberfest would be more accurate, just doesn't sound as smooth. [This information was brought to you by someone who doesn't drink beer at all, but does have a technical & historical interest in amusement rides - still has never been to THE Oktoberfest, though] |

When there are old carrousels from the 60ies and 70ies, you can find several parts, known from different cars. btw.: are there still a rollercoaster or bumper cars in Audi 60 front styling in process? In the 70ies they were not rare in West Germany. |

None that I know of, at least not as whole fleet still touring around, but then again, auto scooters aren't my strongest point and I'm not really up to date about what has been going on in recent years. |
