IMDB episode listing is incorrect so I will list episodes according to the DVD disc set.

1 season, 26 episodes. Run time just 25 minutes per episode.

Probably Brands Hatch at a quick glance, especially for the UK adverts. I'll check what F1 races it held in 70-71 - there were some non-championship events like Race of Champions in the early 70s. Oulton Park Gold Cup another possibility

yeah the famos "LUCAS" bilboard

there is a joke about it "why do the Brits drink their bear warm? Because they have Lucas refrigirators" :))

"Lucas , the king of Darkness"

the weak point of the Jagiar E-Type , the fuel pomp which is of Lucas origin :D

Sorry mike962, but ingo is the only German imcdb member who is allowed to insult the noble name of Joseph Lucas. And that's only because he's unstoppable when he gets going .....

Insults about Joe Lucas are best accompanied by a cocktail of warm beer and Magnetti Marelli.

Having owned two Lancias and two Fiats from the 1960s makes you appreciate the excellence of Lucas products.

French electrics have always been far from exemplary, too.

This is the intriguing photo for the black #5, which looks Ferrari-ish. Regazzoni won 1971 Race of Champions at Brands Hatch in a 312 with #5, but did he race a black car for some reason?? #10 in this race was Gethin's Maclaren M14A (so another match) but no BRM #33. So maybe 2 different races used for footage - the 1971 International Gold Cup at Oulton Park had Ganley at #33 in BRM P153 '153-06' and some of the pics could be Oulton - see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCD1DDXZ1Vc and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ilCj5vNA-k . Best list of 1971 non-championship races I've found is http://www.silhouet.com/motorsport/archive/f1/nc/1971/1971.html . But the black #5 needs further info/ideas.

Wonderful, my congratulations!

And I that had associated the Lucas billboard to "Lucas Oil"...

ElSaxo wrote Wonderful, my congratulations!

Thanks, but not fully deserved. Regazzoni's Ferrari was red - http://f3history.co.uk/Racingpics/bh_roc71/roc71.htm . And the black #5 has some body differences, so is not a Ferrari. Could be an F5000 instead (Leda or something similar??) but can't find another likely match.

Not: "The founder of the electric darkness?"

Oouugh, one time I've found a Lucas-alternator in boxes with different parts, which I got somewhere. Of course I've thrown it directly into the scrap-metal cask, together with some inch-measured wrenches. After that I've desinfected my hands and have changed and washed my clothes.
Later on I was told, that the alternator was from a VW Polo I. The scrapping for o.k. for the Polo-freaks, as they prefer the Bosch-stuff.

I've always heard 'the prince of darkness', though 'the founder of darkness' would make more sense.

No idea, if this question was already asked, but: was this movie sponsored by Opel or GM? Many Opels appear and some of them, new ones, were destroyed. So it's unlikely, that they weren't sponsor-gifts.

I had the same thought, some of the Vauxhalls (Victor Estate and the Ventora) used in UK are as they have Luton Plates which were often seen on factory cars.

Episode given by Raul have no link with the wikipedia page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Adventurer_(TV_series)#Episode_list).
Not surprising as DVD publisher often changed the order of the episodes.
Only full titles should be used as reference :

So when you read : The Case of the Poisoned Pawn, this is not Ep. 22 but Ep. 21 !

For ex. the Citroën K 350 (given to be from Ep. 5) is really seen on "Poor Little Rich Girl" (Ep. 2) as read on the title screen.
Ep. 7 is in fact from Ep. 6 "Counterstrike" / Ep.11 is really #10 "Has Anyone Here Seen Kelly?".

What else ?

From The Not-So Merry Widow (Ep. 18), a petrol tanker hidden by the jet engine :(
Nice quizz isn't it?
