Although nothing is officially said, I believe this was shot in Germany (cars are mostly LHD, UK plates are clearly fake, car models are mostly non-British, in particular notice the VW Typ 1 of the police) |

Ok guys... that's embarassing... as only movie of this series I didn't personally watch prior to make an IMCDb page, I picked up a wrong movie: this is NOT the Edgar Wallace movie The Double (released in Germany as 'Die Rechnung geht nicht auf') BUT an episode of the German series Cliff Dexter https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0168313/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 (episode filmed in Germany in 1967, so it's all clear why the Transit and all the other German cars)... I apologize for this mistake, but you can leave this page for the Cliff Dexter series, so I will upload it as soon as possible (if you want to add the episode number, this is 2.05) |

Not quite. Lots of regrouping needed here. You submitted many background entries of similar vehicles, especially Beetles and MB W110/111. I approved most of them so they can be further ID'd, but they will need to be condensed. |

Yes that's why I submitted them, not being sure of the different model years and versions. Btw, since I won't come back home too late tonight due to heavy snowing here on mountains, may I go on with season 2 in a couple of hours or so or do you prefer to first complete all the regroupings? |

According to German Wikipedia the series was fully filmed in Germany, also episodes set abroad, but at least for season 1 it doesn't seem to be so (Spanish, Swedish and Dutch locations for season 1 seem genuine, as confirmed by several IMCDb users).
