Is there any chance to make comment about the locations, where the single pics were made, or if they were made at special occurences? If yes, it could be helpful to identify the vehicles. The style of the buildings helps, too (the soldier's uniforms less, my knowlede is not big about that). |

Difficult, because I watched this DVD a quite long time ago, so I should watch it again (more than 4h00 footages) I'll try to help from view to view, as long as I can |

The forth thumbnail shows two Airco D.H.2 aircraft. The first D.H.2's went to France late in 1915. The first all-fighter sqadron in the Royal Flying Corps was 25 Squadron which was equipped with D.H.2's and went to France (St Omer) in 1916. My Grandfather helped design this and other Airco aeroplanes. |

Good work on airplane too, greybear! Good knowledge in "history of aviation", but if we understand, you felt in when you were child -- Last edit: 2008-11-02 19:46:51 |

Actually, that's a couple of RAF F.E.2c bombers, but they were also introduced in the autumn of 1915 and featured a similiar layout. |
