AEC 'B' type, formerly operated by the LGOC (London General Omnibus Company). About 900 were commandeered by the army during WW1 for troop transport across France. A few made it back to London and were overhauled for further service!

An LT film I'll post shortly claims 1300 buses and 10000 "busmen" were involved to support action at Ypres and the Somme.
