Now, after you'd said it, I see also the French flag. From which other country it should be? It may look a bit like the Irish flag - but the Republic of Ireland hasn't existed at the time... |

I could not help you to choose but keep in mind that France despite being the first nation in aviation for the whole war (design and assembly), France used too some British and Italian aircraft. So why these ambulance couldn't be Fiat ones ? ... or the colorising process made an error |

Awwww. <3 Although honestly, I don't know what to say? In my humble opinion, as I'm absolutely not an expert of flags, this isn't an Italian flag, because indeed should had the royal emblem, including on army flags. But then, why France should had used Italian trucks as their ambulances? I guess that after ten years it's too late to ask for some details about the context of this picture... |
