The Reichswehr used Stoewers, as I have found out today, but these trucks are not Stoewers. |

Obviously they didn't employ Stoewers exclusively; in times of war there are always multiple suppliers as the demand for vehicles is through the roof. Moreover, this doesn't even resemble a typical purpose-built military truck of WWI, rather something civilian pressed into military service. |

Just read today that the Imperial Ministry of War ordered the construction of a 4 ton truck for the Reichswehr in late 1914. It was produced by the Unionwerke AG of Mannheim, sadly I cannot find any images of the truck. In 1917 the Reichswehr ordered the entire production of a year and gave out orders into 1918. Leftover units not ordered by the army were sold until 1921 when poduction was discontinued due to the difficult situation in Germany at the time. |

Here are two pictures of the Reichswehr truck produced by Union: https://archiv-axel-oskar-mathieu.de/pdfs/Union.pdf Unfortunately clearly not what we're looking for. |
