Death to the Ayatollah. Long live Persia and freedom from tyranny.

My nickname originates from a minor character of the PlayStation game Spyro the Dragon (Reignited sucks, btw). You may have known me (actually, I hope not) as SizSkiizd on that trainwreck of a site called IGCD - Jesus, what's up with that site these days?! As if it wasn't bad enough when I left it 10 years ago. I'm Sig, just your standard 33-year-old Anglophile Dano-Norwegian fella in Oslo, leading a safe and rather average life during these woke compelled speech cancel culture times while obsessing over nostalgia whenever I can. I'm a total sneakerhead in addition to being a car nerd. My favorite line of shoes are Reebok Pumps. I enjoy hiking and swimming in my spare time. Being a city boy living barely 10 minutes away from work, I don't own a car, but I love to drive and would like to own one some day. Preferably something cheap with airbags and a combustion engine. I'm not picky. Growing up in the 90s, and being exposed to Franco-Belgian comics from a relatively young age, I was particularly fond of French cars, namely Citroën H/DS/CX/BX/XM, Peugeot 204/304/504/505 and Renault Dauphine/4/16/6/5. I became interested in 1950s American iron after watching Olsen-banden on VHS. Later I became open to all sorts of cars. I came across IMCDb looking for pictures of Austin A152s.

Being a regular gamer, I spent a lot of time on IGCD back in 2007-10, during what was probably the golden age for that site. I played a bunch of different games on PC and PlayStation, GTA III, Crash Bandicoot 3, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Need for Speed III, The Sims and Hidden & Dangerous to name a few. Most of my classmates had Nintendo 64 so I got my fair share of that, too. Some of my favorite games (in a holistic sense) other than Spyro and Crash are probably Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, Mischief Makers, Heart of Darkness and Half-Life. I only play video games socially or nostalgically now so I'm one of those who don't give a crap about GTA VI, for instance. I also play some AoE II: DE from time to time, but only casually and with friends.

I used to own a black 2000 Toyota Avensis Linea Luna 1.6 (sadly scrapped in 2018).
I still get to drive my late great uncle's red 1998 Avensis Linea Terra 1.6 from time to time. Still runs fine. I hope to inherit it - was briefly offered for sale to me but they decided to keep it.
Also used to brag about an old mothballed 1987 VW Passat 2.0i Trend (actually my father's) that got sold in December 2021. The new owner put it together, registered it, sold it on, however it's currently off the road.
I've driven a bunch of cars and cannot list them all. I used to keep a list but lost track eventually. I took my driver's ED in a 2008 Honda Civic Type-R and learnt to drive in me ma's 2002 Citroën Berlingo.
The best driving experience for me to date was a 2009 Toyota Prius. I also drove a 2014 Prius+ Seven which was equally relaxing. The rarest car I've driven (by IMCDb standards) was a 2002 Daihatsu YRV.
I cannot say I've driven an 'awful' car, but probably my least satisfying driving experience was a 2008 Opel Astra OPC. Awkward gear shift, uncomfortable bucket seats and blind spots galore.

Other cars I've driven include:

Volvo V70 G2
Audi A6 C5 quattro
Subaru Forester SF
Toyota Corolla E110
Mitsubishi Lancer CB
Toyota HiAce XH10
Mazda 323F BA
Audi A4 B7
Peugeot 308 SW
Mazda 626 GF
Mercedes-Benz C-Klasse W202
Ford Mondeo MkIII
Ford Kuga MkI
Suzuki Jimny
Toyota Avensis T250
Opel Corsa B
VW Golf VI
VW e-Golf VII
Suzuki SX4 S-Cross
Porsche Taycan
Tesla Model X
Dacia Duster

Used to do many different things here, but I mostly do old movies now and some more recent Norwegian stuff. My main area of interest is early 50s independent American automobiles, especially Kaiser-Frazer, Packard, Studebaker, Nash and Hudson. I also have a soft spot for Corvairs and GM's Senior Compact cars, and the unique 1963 models in particular. Since 2020 I consider myself an expert on identifying cars of the mid-30s to mid-60s. Anything before or after that I need to double check.
