J'ai un peu de mal à comprendre: les images sont fournies par "keef" mais c'est "daniel h" qui les note... |

I dont agree with the wholesale destruction of some rare classic vehicles featured in The Royal and Heartbeat in particular. Once these vehicles have gone we have lost them forever. |

Fair comment, but remember: they've possibly been taken from scrapyards. Very often the vehicle used before it's 'destruction' and that used after are actually two different ones. |

Saw some vehicles for this parked up by where they were shooting in Leeds (presumably for the second series) back in November/December - remember seeing the Bedford J1, Jensen, a grey Austin Mini van and a few other classics. Also, a future episode will feature an RNLI Lifeboat going to the rescue of a steam ship used as an illegal radio station |

Hoping for an ID on this. Couldn't find anything from searching for the reg. Its featured across Series 8 but the pics are specifically from episode 8.8. -- Last edit: 2017-04-28 12:26:40 |

Either a Porsche 356 or one of the dozens of replicas. |

Even by the murky world of replica things, this plate doesn't work easily. XOU 827 was a grey 1960 Rover saloon (so P4 or P5); suffix plates were XOU 827J - Daf 44, and XOU 827V - Renault 14 GTL. I like the idea of a Daf-engined Porsche replica ....... |

As of summer 2022, The Royal is available for streaming on Britbox and Amazon Prime. A British car fan's delight! |
