Lots of products placement in this movie. Was the following thing an ad for Citroën? There are two nice chases in the movie, with the 300C, Cien, Mack truck and Hummer H2. -- Last edit: 2024-09-24 13:22:08 |

◊ 2006-01-27 13:13 |
hehe. I think there's a Ferrari in the film for about 25-50 frames. It's when Lincoln has a nightmare in the very beginning. All kinds of things flash when he drowns... It's a quite old Ferrari. Part of the dash, a bit of front and the badge and the roof are visible for a couple of frames each. |
◊ 2006-01-27 13:56 |
Yes it is listed: /vehicle_14193-Ferrari-250-GT-1961.html |

Sorry. I'm so blind. I watched the movie again yesterday and started fiddling with slow motion. I rushed to to post that comment. I should pay more attention... |

Which year in the future is this movie? |
◊ 2006-02-05 20:00 |
Around 2050 if I remember well |
◊ 2006-02-05 20:07 |
Tha means that those car's are old in that year! |
◊ 2006-02-05 20:20 |
Do you know in which city this scene was recorded? |
◊ 2006-02-05 20:27 |
You did'nt ask me, but I think it was probably NY or Chigago |
◊ 2006-02-05 21:39 |
Yes, that's something strange: why in movies supposed to be in the future don't they make the cars look like old cars. Would not be too difficult, and more realistic, to see a car of the current model look like a 50-year-old car in a movie that is supposed to be 50 years in the future. |
◊ 2006-02-06 09:52 |
Do you know in which city this scene was recorded?[/quote] Quite a bit of the filming was done in Detroit (strangely enough, and in the middle of January, if I remember correctly), although that particular scene, if not largely CG, was probably in LA (I don't reconize any of the buildings from the Detroit skyline). |
◊ 2006-03-06 00:58 |
the movies story was crap but the vehicles were briiunt |
◊ 2006-03-06 11:52 |
The story was not so bad, I think. |

Heres one of the magnums for rental http://cinemavehicles.com/store_inventory.asp on the main page Type in "2005 Magnum" in the search bar. on the next page that pops up, scroll dow until you see a gray magnum which is the one. -- Last edit: 2006-03-08 18:53:52 |

|
◊ 2011-11-02 13:45 |
Oh,Lord. Why we need this movie "completed" again? |
◊ 2011-11-02 13:48 |
I've added 8 missing cars and replaced the pictures (although I forgot to capture two vehicles) |
◊ 2011-11-02 13:57 |
Were that 8 vehicles really worth to list? |
◊ 2011-11-02 14:02 |
You can see them yourself, it's not difficult. Choose the option "Date added" and you'll find out. |
◊ 2011-11-02 14:05 |
8 1-star vehicles, none of them is rare or otherwise interesting. |
◊ 2011-11-02 14:08 |
Does it matter? Now they're here, and no-one will miss them anymore (and don't say no-one would have missed them anyway) |
◊ 2011-11-02 14:14 |
I'm scared, that walter spending his time watching Michael Bay movies and spotting "missed" vehicles. |
◊ 2011-11-02 14:17 |
Where is the problem, Nightrider? It's not the first time here we include some missing background cars in movies already listed. Yes, the most important thing it's to avoid listing too background ones, but this time I think they are all worth mentioning. Rare/interesting or not. |
◊ 2011-11-02 14:23 |
QX56 and barely visible Audi TT is worth mentioning? Oh, crap. |
◊ 2011-11-02 14:31 |
The TT it's OK for me (not only because I like the Four Rings, anyway). About the Infiniti, do you really think it's not worthy? /vehicle_446283-Infiniti-QX56-JA60-2004.html Well, if you only say that because you simply don't like these cars, we respect your opinion. But it has nothing to do with the listing parameter. |
◊ 2011-11-02 14:48 |
We have worst background vehicles on the site. The ones added by Walter are ok for me. Looks like that Nightrider has some kind of hate for this movie But it has nothing to do with the mission of IMCDb |
◊ 2011-11-02 15:14 |
I really think that QX isn't worthy by following reasons: 1) It's just another boring SUV. 2) It isn't driven by any character. 3) It isn't involved in any scene. In case, if it would be violently destroyed (for example), I would not say a word about it. |
◊ 2011-11-02 15:27 |
as you often say: who cares? The QX is a rare car on the site at this moment: /vehicles_make-Infiniti_model-QX56.html , and it's perfectly visible, and I can't understand your total hysteria on this. It's a waste of effort, nothing's going to change. |

I'm making irritating noise. |

I need more info. Seems a bit random to me. |
◊ 2013-10-28 09:02 |
Interestingly enough scenes from this movie were used in Transformers Dark of the Moon |
◊ 2013-10-28 09:12 |
Michale Bay reused footage from older movies in the first Transformers crap he reused the aircraft carrier fleet footage from his old Pearl Harbour ! |
◊ 2014-11-02 21:33 |
I hate to break it up to Nightrider, but all the Confederate Motorcycles mentioned on the Wikipedia page are missing. |
◊ 2015-06-14 13:32 |
He reused a scene from the highway chase, because when filming a similar scene for Transformers a stunt went wrong and an extra was killed (as far as I know). It was then decided not to use the scene, but to replace it by the one from the Island. |

Zip archive is on the way, but no Scarlett, I can't stand her permanent "dumb schoolgirl" face. |

^Exactly. But then again, there was significantly less cars in Percy Jackson movies to brag about (at least Island have that damn camo'ed Mack). |
