Every car on this movie has even to crash/roll/explode? |

I think I spotted a light-coloured 1983-92 Nissan Micra (March) amongst the traffic free-flowing onto the highway in the brief shot of the intersection (before Kimberly nearly rear-ends the Buick). I don't think these were sold in the US but were sold in Canada where this film was shot. I don't think it's a 1986-90 Hyundai Excel/Pony, it looks too short and narrow. -- Last edit: 2011-05-17 18:55:08 |

The first 3 do look like a Buick Century. The last one looks more like a 1990-93 Lincoln Continental. |

(continued from the FD1 page) The novelization of the movie changed some details about the vehicles: -The red Tahoe is the same, although oddly it's only referred as a "Tahoe", the word "Chevrolet" doesn't appear anywhere in the book. -The Expedition is also the same, although once it's mistakenly called an Explorer. Or maybe it's a stunt double ![]() -The Pinto is a beige Pacer. -The Mustang is described as a '83 model. -The Kawasaki is a ZZR1200. -There's a Harley during the highway scene - there is a bike in the movie, but it's only partially visible. -Instead of an 80's Firebird, there's a brand new black Trans-Am that the owner just picked up from a Pontiac dealership. That would make it a 2001 model, as the story takes place one year after FD1. -The truck that crashes into the Mustang is a Mack. -The Ford Explorer is a black Jeep Cherokee. -The Cavalier and the Neon that almost hit each other are a red Corvette and a silver Nissan. -The Grand Cherokee is a red Volvo. -The '78 Ford F-Series is called an F-150. -During the highway scene, there's a mention of a Subaru station wagon. IIRC that deleted comment on the Ford Escort's page said that it was a Subaru in the movie's original script. -The VW New Beetle is a "silver Beetle that had definitely seen better days" - I guess that implies that it's rather a classic Beetle. Also it belongs to a friend of the main character instead of her, she just borrows it to drive to the mental hospital. -There's another VW Beetle during the highway accident that was "reduced to a husk of charred metal and melted glass". -The Econoline (which is just a "white van") passes by a VW mini-bus when it's driven to the hospital.
