The surprising thing about all five entries is that every opening scene is caused by human error and not a natural disaster, murder etc. The first is a plane malfunction, the second is logs not properly secured on a log truck on a busy highway, the third is a theme park ride malfunction, the fourth is a Nascar accident, and the fifth a bridge malfunction. |

Just recently found out that Final Destination 1, 2 and 3 also had a novelization. I was curious whether they mention any vehicles names, so here's what I found: In general, FD1 doesn't mention too many brand names. The other two books do it more often. The Chevy Nova is just vaguely referred as a "vintage, cherry and black muscle car" and the Miata is just a "blue-black auto" - the Mustang, however was changed to a "mid-eighties, stick shift Corolla". Also, at one point the not-Nova almost hits a "beat-up Corvette". In the movie that could be either the Sable or the Lumina. (continued on the FD2 page) |
