THere are so many nice old cars featured in this series, and i own all the current DVDs. One day i will work on this page, but id rather do it in the future when im an admin and can pictures myself instead of through the forum.

You should contact Antp for that

Who becomes admin is not especially decided by me anymore :p There is a thread on the forum in admin-only section where this can be discussed by admins, as usually those who become admin are suggested by other admins rather than requesting it :D

Were there so many cars in this series though? :??:

I remeber there is a scene where Samantha did her magical trick to avoid side accident between her husband's car and the 1964 Chevrolet full size by going through her husband's car.

There were quite a lot over 8 seasons, even if the majority were chevys. My favourite though has to be the Reactor Mach II supercar, from the episode, rightly named "the Supercar", which also appeared in Batman and Star trek
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reactor_Mach_II or http://www.harpiesbizarre.com/supercar.htm
And on the admin side, ill let it die and hopefully at the end of the year ill have submitted enough pictures to make the admin status justifiable and that somebody will notice that. Until then, ill keep doing as i have been doing and submit through the forum.

Yes there were a bunch of cars, because Chevrolet was a sponsor and for the first six-seven years at least, virtually every car you saw was a Chevy. Some scenes simply showed Darrin or Larry Tate turning into the driveway in a Chevy as establishing shots. The memorable 1965 episode where Samantha learns to drive (and Paul Lynde plays her neurotic instructor), shows a lot of heavy traffic scenes...not a single non-Chevy in the whole episode.

The multi-parter set in Salem, Massachusetts, circa 1970, shows a lot of non-Chevys. The characters ride around in a Pontiac Bonneville, they zip past a Volkswagen, and they even get pulled over by a '70 Ford LTD police cruiser.

Great spot! This was, by the way, apparently the first time the "Bewitched" characters ever appeared in color, as the show itself didn't go to color until 1966.

Could it be, that nearly the whole serie was made in a studio? The background looks like this. No dirtier places - and no random-background cars. Especially in US-series and movies from these years, you often can find rare -mainly European- background cars. I think, the most of the French cars in US-movies, we have found as random background-cars.

I agree, most of the locations look like to me studio backlot sets.

Yes, I don't think a sitcom like "Bewitched" had the budget for shooting in real locations.

Well apart from the salem-saga episodes in the first part of season 7 which were actually filmed in Salem, Massachusetts (well the majority of it was), due to the studio's burning down until a replacement was built. You are correct that bewitched was filmed on a studio lot. Specifically the exterior shots of the house were filmed at the Warner Bros Ranch in Burbank, California. The house facade still stands today.

Dragonboy, not only does the house still stand, it's still used. In 2007 there was a commercial here in the US where the Fruit of the Loom guys are clumsily decorating a house for Christmas, stringing up lights, etc...it's actually, unmistakably, the Stephens house.

Edit: Here that commercial is on Youtube:

In a fit of insomnia last night, I was watching several episodes, and in Ep 6.03, Larry Tate arrives at the Steven's house in a yellow 1969 Corvette roadster that is not listed. I see a similar 1970 model listed but not this 1969.
