c'est la caisse qu'emprunte gene "Popeye" Hackman pour poursuivre notre marcel Bozzuffi national qui lui meme a emprunté le metro aerien . cette scene , ( sans doute boostée par le succes de la poursuite de bullitt qq années plus tot ), d'une extreme tension , fait partie des morceaux de bravoure du ciné americain ( en matiere de bagnole ) a noter que william friedkin dans " to live and die in l.a " 14 ans plus tard , signera un autre classique des poursuite de caisses . |

It's probably called Burnt Cinnamon or something along those lines. I have a '72 Lemans Sedan, so I cry a little bit inside when I watch the French Connection and see it's older brother getting slammed through fruit stands and stuff... |

If you watch one of the instances where the camera is showing the front of the car you can see the front bumper actually jiggling due to the road surface. |
