i like the sound track of this movie. Acid jazz, very melancholy.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kMhcf8eyiA . Soundtrack CD is available and excellent - some versions come with a 2nd CD of modern dance remixes which is well worth listening to such as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoT8jl_NKtE .

My original intention was just to add any missing cars from the movie (as I could see the majority of the cars were present) But I ended up doing some of the main cars again while I was doing the captures (Not ALL ..as I didn't re-do all the rolls royces passing at the funeral, as I was pretty sure they had all been done already!)
I hadn't checked the orignal size of Bebert's captures ..so really should have re-done them all :D

This film was loosely inspired by the murder of Angus Sibbet who was found shot in the back the seat of his parked 1966 Jaguar Mk10 under Pesspool Bridge in South Hetton, County Durham in the early hours of the 5th January 1967.

Angus Sibbet was a known figure in the London Criminal Underworld during the 1960s and had worked as a "cash collector" for the major gambling clubs ran by these figures involved in London's Underworld.

The murder was dubbed "The One-Armed Bandit Murder" as Sibbet was known from collecting money from poker machines (or known colloquially as "one-armed bandits"). Sibbet's associates included the Kray Twins and their rivals, the Richardson Gang.

According to the investigation into Sibbet's murder, it was believed that Sibbet was suspected by members of the Underworld of skimming the money that he collected from the machines.

It was believed that on the night of Sibbet's murder on the 4th January, Sibbet was in Newcastle to collect money from the machines in the various clubs throughout the Northeast. At 12:30am on the 5th January, Sibbet had met his two associates from London, Dennis Stafford and Michael Luvaglio at the Birdcage Nightclub, 16 miles from where Sibbet's body was found.

Both Stafford and Luvaglio were convicted of Sibbet's murder on the 15th March 1967 and were sentenced to life imprisonment but were released after 12 years on license.

Since one of the accused (Luvaglio) was of Italian descent, the murder had exposed the possibility of members of the Mafia, in particular the American Mafia were showing an interest into establishing a presence in the gambling and nightclub scene.

Years before the Sibbet murder, the Mafia Commission's "money man" Meyer Lansky had expressed interest in establishing Mafia-controlled casinos and gambling clubs in London as they did in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Havana.

With this possibility (and due to the Mafia had lost their casinos in Havana in the 1959 Cuban Revolution), Lansky turned to his associate and head of Philadelphia Crime Family, Angleo Bruno who and his associates had travelled to London to meet with members of the London Underworld and discuss the possibility of an alliance. Two of the members of the Underworld that Bruno and his associate met were Ron and Reg Kray.
