No, they appear normal (at least on a good monitor), these are dark scenes The old pics are way too light/pale (probably color-corrected to be more visible on old CRT monitor, which was common back then) -- Last edit: 2016-07-12 20:44:11 |

On my desktop monitor (some high-end Dell monitor I luckily got for cheap) the dark pics are fine, if they are less dark you see compression artifacts and no black, just dark grey. But indeed on my laptop (whose monitor isn't as good) such pic appear a little too dark. |

I had a similar problem with some of the images appearing a bit dark when I got my new laptop a few months ago compared to my older one but I was able to fix it by adjusting the brightness and contrast settings. |
