Well, some people like to watch movies with wide actors, i.e. 4:3 image deformed to fit 16:9 screen. Some maybe also like to see cars with non-round wheels

The film is set in Israel but, according to the IMDB some (maybe most) of it was filmed in Morocco, which would explain all the French cars. :)

Perhaps the producers decided that Israel was too dangerous, because of suicide bombings, etc.

I do not call that round wheels: /vehicle_78228-Kia-Pregio.html
You do not see that all the cars are to narrow?

It's possible to resize images in Photoshop to change the aspect ratio. Go to the Image menu and choose Resize the Image Size. Play with different numbers for height -- the screenshots for this film are 375 x 288 pixels, and changing height to 210 appears to be about right.

I didn't see that. Maybe we were in Photoshop at the same time. :)

I have done it myself ;) . I have the DVD and uploaded new images. It seems that I have missed a few cars, but I will do that soon also.
