 N820TW was a 1961 Convair CV-880-22-1 of Trans World Airlines. On September 13, 1965, the same year this movie was released, the aircraft was destroyed when it crashed during takeoff for a training flight in Kansas City; there were no fatalities, but one presumes the student pilots failed the test: https://aviation-safety.net/database/record.php?id=19650913-1
