Ooops! At the very end of the scene, I think that appears a 3D-modelled Peugeot 505 in the left side of the frame! Look and tell me if I'm getting crazy :-P ![]() Regards! |

It looks like a US-spec 505 to me. |

The infamous car scene has some REALLY bad visual effects, even for 1997/1998. The cars look like they were photographed (or filmed) off site in front of a green screen and messily superimposed onto the shot of Brad Pitt. None of the shadows of the involved products match either. Big example is shown here: /vehicle_857665-Ford-Crown-Victoria-1996.html |

Yeah, no kidding: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mikj8eDKxMQ It almost feels like as if I'm watching a comedic scene from one of those parody movies like Scary Movie. ![]() |

Remember watching this scene as a kid and I actually thought it looked real and after viewing it continously I felt bad for laughing as I wanted to know if the man was okay. |

I remember that the scene was available as a video without source on internet in late 90s/early00s (so not so long after the film release), posted as a genuine accident. The (very) bad quality of the videos on internet back then made it look real (try to see CGI in a 240x180 mpg video), unless you knew it was from this movie ![]() |
