In russian sources it is 1978 movie. But first shown in Moscow in september 1979. |

Which cars do you mean? I think, the Rallye-cars rather not, as it seems, that they are authentic (the Saab 99, the Porsche 911, the BMW 2002 ti, etc.) Maybe the Ford P5? |

Yes, ingo, some (most)of rally car is real. But i have doubts about early 911 without number. All Taunuses, Opel Admiral and MB [W115]looks like museum. -- Last edit: 2010-06-18 12:32:48 |

You mean that car: /vehicle_310782-Porsche-911.html ? It sems to be an authentic one. Even the company on the sticker seems still existing: http://www.holstein-haus.de/ It sits in the same area, the Porsche was registrated. The RD-plate (a rather uncommon tape-version) is from Rendsburg, in the far North of Germany, and it looks authentic, too.  The same as on the sticker or not? I'm not really sure http://www.elevit.ch/scripts/pages/de/home.php P.S. If there were more shots from the plates, for example from the BMW CSi and the E-Rekord, we can say more about the authentity. Well, cars on the border and in Berlin looks authentic and modern for its time. Anyway this movie got unusual car set. Those Porsches and others is too expensive for museum. Now i got how filmmakers get it in movie. Autosport and motosport was very popular in baltic respublics of SU. Movie itself maybe little weak as detective but (IMHO) better than "Mirage", coz they not try to represent "cruel capitalistic reality". |

Thats not a big problem. It was, usualy, Rigas film studio of late 70's, 80's. But not only. I don't remember all theyr titles (coz they was booring) but ill find them and post. |
