 Filmed in Charlottesville, Virginia. I went to college in Charlottesville, and I know this parking lot - an awkwardly shaped piece of pavement not far from the University, between the area known as The Corner and the railroad tracks. I never parked there, but I did walk through on a few occasions when I was wandering around town.

 I just had a look at the movie poster on imdb ( http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2791147008/tt1504300 ) and it's quite curious, because not only the cars are 3D renderings, but some of them depict models that aren't even sold in the USA : right-hand-drive SWB Pajero, Toyota Crown, Peugeot 207...

 Another interesting thing about that poster, possibly intentional - The colors are arranged to mimic the American flag, but proper flag etiquette requires that the union (stars) always be to the viewer's upper left. Displaying it with the union to the upper right might be equivalent to flying it upside-down, a sign of dire distress.
