Supposedly there is a 1965 Cadillac convertible owned by man in my neighborhood that made a cameo in this movie:

I recently purchased a Black on Black 1966 Cadillac Deville convertible and was told that it was used in
The Bronx Tales. How can I confirm that it was actually the car? We bought the movie and from everything we can see
in the movie does look like the car. Appreciate any help!

Perhaps a Carfax report will show you the previous owners. https://www.carfax.eu/
Typically the owner kept some memorabilia from the movie, like a signed script.
No identifying marks or dents either?

I've seen other cars listed on eBay and like sites that have been used in films and usually the seller has a certified document from the production company that confirms the car with ### VIN was used in production. I guess the only the production company would know for sure. Unfortunately, I don't think you will have much luck there, the first production company listed, Price Entertainment, hasn't produced a film since 2001. It was an independent film company run by former Universal & Columbia exec Frank Price. He's 87 now, and probably retired in 2001. The only production company listed that is still operating is Tribeca Productions. Not sure how much luck you will have there, it's been 24 years.

Excellent film, produced by Peter Gatien, one time NYC night club impressario. Gatien hired Chazz Palminteri as a door man to one of his clubs and when Palminteri needed money to produce his one man play, he turned to his then-boss Gatien who produced the play and later this movie.

Gatien's rise and fall in the nightclub scene of the late 1970s to the late 2000s has been the subject of multiple books, documentaries and is currently being developed for the screen by Goodfellas writer Nicholas Pileggi. Might be Scorsese's/DiCaprio's future venture.
