According to this (http://www.kr2k.com/bts.html), it's a Stealth made to look like the Banshee (after Pontiac wouldn't lend their car to the producers of the movie). |

its a 92 dodge stealth base model that was converted into the kitt car the front and back of the car are actually fiberglass repops of the pontiac banshee concept car from 1988 .gif ":)") |

Yes there are. Many Chevrolet Beretta's with Bel Air/Dodge a Ford Taurus, and a blown up Beretta aka Mustang with a Bazooka fired from the Lumina. |

In reality, barcode license plates would not be practical, as slight damage to the plate would render the barcode unreadable (and current license plates are machine-readable anyways) |
