I've spent YEARS trying to figure out what this truck is. It appears to have Ford grille "teeth." |

The main character goes to the salvage/fleet depot yard and picks through whatever he wants to get the trucks ready for the mission...or at least that is how I remember the story. Loved this movie for the truck scenes in the jungle. |

This truck also fascinated me. It may well be a GMC M211 but the grille and wings ( fenders ) and bonnet (hood) are surely a 1953ish Ford F8??? Maybe the whole thing is Ford if they ever made 6 wheel military trucks? see here Link to "t2.gstatic.com" Looks like the two light pods have been cut out and stuck on top and more 'teeth' welded in... -- Last edit: 2011-10-01 12:30:39 |

One of the most sinister vehicles I have seen in a movie, or in real life. I love it. I am a fan of Tangerine Dream (who made a music score for the movie), I am also a fan of Roy Scheider - but this truck beats them all anytime! |

How would you like to see that in the rear view mirror while driving your '71 Plymouth Valiant? |

I really think this truck should get 5 stars. It's name is the same name as the movie "Sorcerer." Sucks to see it destroyed. |
