I think it's actually a 1967+ 912. 911s of that era had gold letters, while these appear silver, like those of a 912. |

My first thought was 912 as well - more made than 911 until 69, but it has rubber bumper trim and over-rider insets which were usually more 911 than 912. The gold/silver letters distinction is often quoted, but I have doubts if this is totally reliable from some of our entries and book photos of 66-69 cars. So I'm not disagreeing 912 here, but not absolutely confident. |
