Looks like they used a older model Granada for the cliff scene in Prowler's pics and a double for the blue thunder's thumbnails above. |

Also in this film: /vehicle_53937-Ford-Granada-1981.html (where it was also meant to get wrecked). |

I randomly found the video and went here to check if it was already posted - so it was. That's a really surreal scene ![]() |

Just saw it last night on Talking Pictures Encore. Incredible moments and now off to wiki to try and understand what I just saw, did his daughter unleash the hounds of hell on him? This movie is a Ford fans dream, I thought there'd be loads more pics. Spotted an XR3 and a mk 2 Escort estate and so many Daimlers, Spitfires, Transit, Honda Civic, so many cars in that car park |

Caught this on the same channel & recorded it, not seen it since about 1991 on late night ITV. The crash sequence struck me as bizarre & unrealistic, but I guess as it was supernatural powers that were behind the accident it could explain the way the Granada was raised up like that & slowly tipped over the wall. Well that’s how I’m rationalising it anyway. |

![]() I bumped the rating to five stars because this car is very much part of the movie's plot and a literal means to an end, but not in the way of transportation. |
