The Lincoln Futura is well-known as the basis for the TV Batmobile from the 1960s, modified by George Barris and still in that guise. I'd like to know more aboout this car. Ford either made two or someone has made a replica. |

somebody is currently producing copies of the Lincold Futura in both original set up and as the batmobile, they are made of fiber glass but id still get one if i could. |

Its "Baxley Motors" called in the episode. But its just the company name, the model name was not said. Btw, they added an additional joke in the german synchro which wasnt in the american version: "What is this Frankie, did you switch your Cuda for a Batmobile?" Ford motors co. sold 20 of these to George Barris for a dollar a car and 5 he turn it into the batmobile for the 60s tv series and this is what it original look like before it was made like a batmobile a bubble top roof that raise up when the door is open also Bryan Cranston is on this episode. |
