What that means is that HD pics shouldn't be wider than 960px or taller than 498px, but they can be anything in between, depending on the movie's aspect ratio. If your HD copy of this movie came with slight black bars on top and bottom which you removed, then its aspect ratio is 1.85:1 and the size of the pics should be 921x498. If the movie had no black bars to begin with, then its aspect ratio is 16:9, in which case the size of the pics should be 885x498. But you don't need to do that math. Just make sure your pics don't have black bars, then simply check the "Automatic resize/recompress picture if needed" checkbox on the upload page before you upload your pics, and they will be resized automatically.
