Another odd car, this technically replaced the Omega, although it is really a extended Vectra with extra rear space. It doesn't completely fit the category of either MPV or executive car. What is the use of the rear space when someone who can afford a chauffeur would have a much more expensive car. Maybe it would be useful as a taxi or executive car service vehicle but it's hard to imagine why the ordinary consumer would choose one.

One that appears randomly in episode 8.01:

 Brilliant!

A friend of mine has an Opel Signum that I drive from time to time. Oh yes, it´s odd and it feels like you´re driving a biiiiiig Astra. I believe the Signums will be a collector´s item in 15 - 20 years, when everybody else has forgotten about them.

That review from Top Gear was great

From Wikipedia:

"The Signum was intended to [...] capture a whole new market segment."
"In North America, General Motors offers a vehicle based on a similar concept (yet targeting a different market) and platform, called Chevrolet Malibu Maxx."
Isn't that Malibu Maxx the one that really sold poorly? :D (only two on the site)

They did sell quite poorly. Odd, seeing as though my name was in it :D

This is the "Elegance" model, as seen at the front of the left hand door, just behind the indicator.
