It doesn't completely fit the category of either MPV or executive car. What is the use of the rear space when someone who can afford a chauffeur would have a much more expensive car. Maybe it would be useful as a taxi or executive car service vehicle but it's hard to imagine why the ordinary consumer would choose one. One that appears randomly in episode 8.01: ![]() ![]() The vehicle details for KS04 MGU are: Date of Liability 01 09 2011 Date of First Registration 09 06 2004 Year of Manufacture 2004 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 2198CC CO2 Emissions 194g/Km Fuel Type Petrol Vehicle Status Licence Not Due Vehicle Colour BLUE Vehicle Registration Number KS04MGU Make/Model VAUXHALL SIGNUM ELITE DIRECT -- Last edit: 2012-11-06 01:30:38 |

![]() A friend of mine has an Opel Signum that I drive from time to time. Oh yes, it´s odd and it feels like you´re driving a biiiiiig Astra. I believe the Signums will be a collector´s item in 15 - 20 years, when everybody else has forgotten about them. -- Last edit: 2008-07-30 02:15:15 |

That review from Top Gear was great ![]() From Wikipedia: "The Signum was intended to [...] capture a whole new market segment." "In North America, General Motors offers a vehicle based on a similar concept (yet targeting a different market) and platform, called Chevrolet Malibu Maxx." Isn't that Malibu Maxx the one that really sold poorly? ![]() -- Last edit: 2008-07-30 14:20:09 |

This is the "Elegance" model, as seen at the front of the left hand door, just behind the indicator. |
