Lateef ◊ 2023-08-05 10:57	I believe the word you are looking for is 'repeater', not sidemarker. Sidemarkers are constantly lit at night and usually sit either within the turn signal housing or in a separate unit at or near the bumper edge. Repeaters are fender -or mirror-mounted turn signals required in most international markets except the Americas since the 1990s. The point you make is excellent, however, as I cannot locate a single Joice without a repeater. On the other hand, Caribbean and South American markets did receive many KDM cars that weren't subject to the changes required by, namely, the European market. Chances are this is a Carstar, indeed. @Rinspeed: are there any rear views of this vehicle that show the badging? That way we may settle this once and for all.
