Well, my expectations certainly plummeted to uncharted depths when "written and directed by James Glickenhaus" credit showed up, for I haven't forgotten his celluloid excrement that was The Soldier (which is actually featured in this movie; fittingly, Sam Elliott is shown sleeping through it), and it might be because of that that this movie turned out to be surprisingly enjoyable. Except for a couple of scenes where it stops dead with pointless romantic nonsense, and some obvious plot holes aside, it breezed along nicely and is definitely worth seeing. HD does reveal obvious stuntmen in place of Weller and Elliott, but that's a given. If I positively loathed every frame of The Soldier, here I only hated Larry Bishop's mullet.  |

If it's got Sam Elliott in it, it's usually worth watching, although this movie looks too urban for me. |
