I wouldn't call them realistic... |

The fire truck very much looks like Dennis PAX 11. http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/len_rogers/nov8/dennis_fire.jpg |
◊ 2011-11-03 12:14 |
kudos, since the vehicle are too generic but the page is from 2010, you can add here in comments the vehicles. |
◊ 2011-11-03 21:12 |
What a terrible imagination This generic small-kiddies-junk here is an absolute waste of forum-space and lifetime of forum-members |
◊ 2011-11-03 21:37 |
Badly drawn is this: /vehicle_340070-Ford-Taurus.html Those vehicles here are nice models with own style and charm and some are shaped after the real ones. |

Me Sir! I did! It's in the thumb with the ...... if I said where it would spoil the fun. But it is a genuine depiction. |

Yes. |

Thomas the Tank Engine, dearie me Although I believe the engines were all based on real ones. http://www.pegnsean.net/~railwayseries/engines.htm Mind you, it's better than listing this: /movie.php?id=149509 -- Last edit: 2011-11-05 23:01:33 |

The cement mixer might be a GMC CCKW. -- Last edit: 2012-05-19 06:18:50 (karoomay) |

The fire engine is most likely a Dennis PAX 11. -- Last edit: 2012-05-19 23:41:47 (Lateef) |
◊ 2012-05-19 23:35 |
^^And the double-decker is an AEC Routemaster. |
◊ 2012-05-19 23:38 |
And the green and yellow three-wheeled truck looks like a Scammell Scarab. -- Last edit: 2012-05-19 23:40:46 (Lateef) |
◊ 2012-05-19 23:42 |
Also, the bulldozer looks like an International-Harvester TD-9 Crawler Tractor Bulldozer. PS: Remember to thank me for all the help I'm providing you guys. -- Last edit: 2012-05-19 23:46:10 (Lateef) |
◊ 2012-05-22 04:37 |
But the mail truck, the blue sedan and the ambulance look too "general" if you know what I mean. |
◊ 2012-05-22 04:42 |
Just found out that the steamroller is an Aveling & Porter. PS: Thanks for the link, G-MANN! It'll really help us! |
◊ 2014-01-11 22:05 |
Back in the day (but not anymore!), I was a huge fan of this series. The vehicles I can trace back are: -Terence, a Caterpillar Model 70 -Trevor, a William Foster and Company traction engine from the 1920s -Bulgy, an AEC Routmaster -Elizabeth, a Sentinel DG4 (retired, but I had her as a toy ) And Fergus, who is an Aveling & Porter 2-2-0 WT |
◊ 2015-06-25 23:24 |
Not anymore, mind you the series switched to full-fledged ugly-looking CGI a year or two back. Also, this should be "1984-2015" as it's still being produced. -- Last edit: 2015-06-26 07:10:00 |

◊ 2015-07-06 22:33 |
Why? |
◊ 2015-07-07 11:52 |
This show was at its best when Ringo Starr narrated it (remember watching it all the time on VHS back in 1995-1996). |
◊ 2015-07-07 11:57 |
Time to dump out the nostalgia dump truck - bonus points for mike962 if he can identify it! I caught up with it during the Michael Brandon era (approx. 2005-07) "Halloween" and "Snow" were my favorite episodes. What I also remember are some bits from the title theme as well as a few other episodes and a few books based on the show (James In A Mess was the first Thomas book I read in America, back in September 2005) I also liked how the engines' names were displayed on cards during the opening sequences. -- Last edit: 2015-07-14 22:04:32 |
◊ 2015-07-14 22:05 |
Agreed. That is the only vehicle that looks realistic enough to be listed. Also, can someone please tell me where the Renault 8 Gordini is, 5 years later? |
◊ 2015-07-14 23:19 |
The single deck bus is undoubtedly a BMMO "ON" series. Here is a "DON" (Diesel ONward" by way of an example. https://www.flickr.com/photos/24146532@N02/2951405277 -- Last edit: 2015-07-14 23:21:28 |

It was definitely there, and very distinctive. But I can't see it now. My guess is kudos posted some pictures, but they've gone for some reason. |
◊ 2015-07-19 19:06 |
Dunno about the TV series, but if you say this from the comics doesn't look like a Subaru Impreza or isn't one, I pity you. -- Last edit: 2015-07-19 19:09:01 |
◊ 2015-07-19 19:12 |
Only the colour scheme does. So, pity me if you must. |
◊ 2015-07-19 19:47 |
I don't, but clearly they were going for an Impreza: Link to "www.imgbase.info" They also say the car on the right looks like a Neon, do you agree? There really are too many reasons that speak for an Internet Comic Cars Database... -- Last edit: 2015-07-19 19:51:50 |
◊ 2015-07-19 19:57 |
It looks more like a Chinese copy of the Peugeot 206, really. |
◊ 2015-07-19 20:08 |
well, the blue one is closer to a Impreza than the red onre is to a Neon ( unless there is a Neon hatchback, which i never saw ) |
◊ 2015-07-19 20:14 |
red one makes me think of a really happy version of Link to "memberfiles.freewebs.com" |

Is there any chance that the Renault 8 Gordini picture can be retrieved?? It was a definite unambiguous capture, but lurking in the background of something else - can't remember now what. Might have been a vehicle or railway engine. |
◊ 2017-01-28 14:31 |
I'd still like to see its return. It was definitely recognisable with the correct blue and white striping, parked in the background of something else. From memory a rear three-quarter view. |

That's my number #1 favourite show, why? beacuse it's part of my childhood and i watched it when i was little |
◊ 2019-10-19 00:13 |
For me this show was too hyperrealistic. |
◊ 2019-10-19 00:50 |
I used to watch this when I was around five and six. Nowadays I find it creepy, annoying and stupid, and the sooner I forget it, the better. Although still not as messed up as The Adventures of Rosalie (or in French: Les aventures de Rosalie) Seriously, that stuff is really messed up. -- Last edit: 2019-10-19 00:52:44 |
