 I have seen the show, don't like it very much (I am not saying it's bad, just stating my opinion). However it does have pretty good animation and that is probably the only thing I liked about it.

 I noticed that there are lots of car chases and crashes in this. Unusual for a comedy animated series.

The Red Car was a 1965 Dodge Polara Third Generation

And the Light Blue Car was a 1960 Dodge Polara First Generation

All the Elmore Cars on the Elmore Highway is a 1980 Ford LTD Crown Victoria which all Elmore Residents use Ford LTD Crown Victorias

Elmore was set in 1981 which Nicole Watterson was 8 Years Old during the Regan Era in California, United States.
