Perhaps the only film ever that is an apology of the Nissan Cedric! I've seen it so long ago I wasn't sure whether it did happen or whether it was some weird dream or distorted memory... Glad to know I am not that insane yet... |

I like it. Steve Bisley is funny as a dodgy used car salesman -- Last edit: 2008-08-16 05:48:06 |

There is a chase between the Pintara (towing a caravan) and the Chev Caprice, and also between the Monaro and the Volvo. The two chases meet up and the bad guys in the Chev and Volvo crash together and end up wedged in a narrow lane after they try to go in at the same time, so the Monaro and Pintara get away. |

Vintage caravan almost deserves a page of it's own. It is towed behind the Pintara during the chase, complete with bad guy hanging off the back. Looks better behind the Cedric than the Pintara![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2008-08-19 02:28:32 |

For cars used to dress the car yard, that are seen regularly throughout the film I have given 2 stars, as they were deliberately placed by the production company. For other car yard cars seen only once I have marked as one star. Also for cars in the car park where three of the main characters work, if one of the character interacts with the driver, or moves the car I have marked as two stars and if they are just parked in background one star -- Last edit: 2008-08-19 02:21:43 |

I think there is also a silver, background Renault Fuego somwhere close to the end of the film. The question is: was it rare car in Australia? |

It was near the beginning, but I couldn't get a clear capture. I will try to watch it again and get a capture |

Just added a couple more background cars including missing Fuego |

An Australian friend who's really into cars owned a Fuego in Oz and he certainly never said it was a rare car, so no rarer than anywhere else they were sold I guess. |

![]() Blu-ray was finally released in 2021. HD upgrade complete (mostly - many SD shots were kept due to different aspect ratio). -- Last edit: 2021-09-21 08:01:33 |
