nice rock opera movie, isnt? |

The windshield pictures can be put in the comments of the movie. They are just background cars, adds nothing. |

No, these windshield pictures worth there own pages. There are more than background cars, full screen. |

But about nothing of the car is seen, I do not see the point of listing them like that... The rear views when the guy runs are more interesting, no? (even if blurry) -- Last edit: 2009-03-05 09:02:48 |

The toy car is the celebrated Austin J40, styled after the A40 Devon/Dorset. Austin set up a factory to make these and the Pathfinder (based on a 30s Austin Seven race car) in the early 50s, employing IIRC miners whose health problems prevented them working in the pits. |

I would list all of the junkyard pictures. They are so interesting. |

He sure plays a mean pinball... |

Horrible - too many dead Imps, Minxes, a Rapier and an Avenger estate. It must have been a Rootes massacre. |
◊ 2011-11-12 20:51 |
The avenger estate had a shortlife, and is that imp above in loch blue? |

Anyone for the Skoda 1000 MB? |
◊ 2011-11-13 14:40 |
ingo, i would be surprised if any original uk examples still exist here, but there maybe a few eastern euro imports in the skoda club |
◊ 2011-11-13 14:45 |
http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/skoda_mb says only 1 Skoda MB left - other combinations such as 1000 or 1000 MB come up with nil. |

Some cars are well hidden on there. The other day I was looking to see how many Sierra Sapphire 2000Es were left and couldn't find anything because they were all listed as 'Ford Sapphire 2000E'. |

P.S. On the Skoda-pic also something for IMPinballDb ![]() @cortina.chris: so it makes no sense to ask the UK-club, if someone wants to swap my three West German Kraftfahrzeugbriefe from the 60ies (2 from a 1000 MB, one from a 110 R) ![]() |
◊ 2011-11-13 19:51 |
@ingo. nah just keep em as a momento! |
◊ 2011-11-13 21:29 |
There's a better possibility: I'll try use it as barter-goods on this marketplace for stuff for Eastern Block-verhicles http://www.omoma.de/ Maybe someone has something about the few VW K 70, which were running in the DDR ![]() Another rarity, a 1962' Fahrzeugbrief from a Wartburg 312, a privately imported car, I've already swapped. For an old West German plate. |

That scrapyard is such a waste! ![]() ![]() Looking at the yard in this film kind of makes me glad there are less breakers yards around today (though I've long been a "fan" of them ![]() ![]() |
