Never heard off that group :D ...I think the first swedish group we've heard of in France was ABBA..in the 70's/80's
(..very commercial :/)

At the same time of this film in France were some "yéyé /rock group" as "Les Chaussettes Noires", "Les Chats Sauvages" or "Johnny Halliday" ...i'm not sure you'd heard of them in sweden too :D

Little Gerhard was a famous rock n´roll singer of the 50´s and 60´s, in 1958 he was elected the \"Scandinavian King of Rock n´Roll\". Later he worked at a record company, (Karusell I think) and discovered Agnetha Fältskog of ABBA. He produced some of her early records, some of the songs were written by herself.
At the time of her discovery she worked as a switchboard operator at the local Triumph dealer in her hometown Jönköping. She drove a Triumph Spitfire in the late sixties, that car was recently sold abroad.
