It's not a real fast chase, but Bourvil, Jean-Paul Belmondo and Eli Wallach are following in the Citroen Traction the BMW CS with Silvia Monti. And there's a very little "chase-scene", when David Niven and Silvia Monti are trying the escape the faked policeman in the Renault 16. -- Last edit: 2008-06-01 19:38:54 |

It's one of my favourite films. The French or French-Italian movies from that time are showing very good real feelings (and design und music, too) of that years. Louis-de-Funes-movies are good in that case, too. And the dialogues are much earthier and spicier than the most German or American movies of that time. For a long time I've searched for the soundtrack (except on my old and nearly broken video) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPj6cfX_U9o&feature=related Except in the movie, in the pre-Amazon- and youtube-times, there were only two tapes with that song. On the youtube above (from the German version) you hear the original song, not the one, used in the movie's beginning (with the shots, the screaming people on the carrussel and the horse-patter). P.S.: without a car, but a very good scene, too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FjNhL4qBoY&feature=related At least sixcyl will agree -- Last edit: 2008-06-01 19:39:07 |
