Meant to represent the journey by a COI library staff member taking a film and portable projector from London HQ to a school "on a small island". BM boat registration is Brixham in Devon which is as far as I know completely deprived of nearby small islands and travel via Tal-y-llyn would be an unbelievably huge detour. Interesting box on the rear door. GYL 612 = March 1945 to March 1947 "allocated in blocks" so 1946 should be safe. |
