It's a Reliant Scimitar GTE. |

Although the plate doesn't appear to exist, if the plates age is correct for the car, then this is probably a Middlebridge Scimitar. Reliant ceased production of the Scimitar in 1986 and sold the rights to Middlebridge. |

Couldn't it be one of the last Reliant? (as F is 08-1967 to 07-1968) |

Why one of the last ones? I think the Scimitar GTE was built from 1968 till 1975 with these chrome bumpers, and from 1975 till 1986 with black bumpers, wasn't it? |

That's F at the end of the number. F at the beginning is August 1988 – July 1989: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_car_number_plates#Prefix_series |

The Middlebridge Scimitar ( 77 made between 1988 and 1990 ) was a sort of rebadged 1975-1986 Scimitar GTE SE6. The Scimitar GTE SE6 ( and the Middlebrige, consequently ) had another rear treatment with a different - and not chrome - bumper. So, I would say this car belongs to the series of 1968-1975 Reliant Scimitar GTE SE5 and, to be more specific, according to the type of rear badges it seems to be a 1972+ Reliant Scimitar GTE SE5a with a later numberplate. http://sporting-reliants.com/MbridgeScimitar_brochures.htm http://www.sporting-reliants.com/owners_gallery.htm |
