Un Renault 1000 Kg de 1947 ou 1949… Je parie sur 1949. |

We only have one other listed as 1949 - why not 1950? Norwegian name would be Sykebil or Ambulanse. |

I don't understand your question. I suggested 1947 (year for the outside mirror on the driver's side for the 1000 Kg) or 1949 (end of suicide doors—invisible here) as possible stepping years before 1952 (year when the police plate was not anymore over the rear door). All this according to my "book", Link to "lesptitesrenault.online.fr" which is maybe not that accurate. (And now I see your point: indeed we only have one other dated 1949. Well… it means we have to do more research. I know that two issues of Charge Utile "hors série" exist on the subject of these Renault vans and trucks, but I can't find them for sale.) -- Last edit: 2016-01-07 14:51:07 |

Question: if we call them Sykebil or Ambulanse, does it mean we have to make them "make for: Norway"? |

Well, my point is: 1949 contra 1950 - the suicide doors must then have disappeared in late 1949 for MY 1950, je pense. According to IMCDb ruling, yes. -- Last edit: 2016-01-07 14:55:24 |

Yep, je vois. But once again, my only source says "1949" for no suicide doors. So… I think we should wait until putting hands, eye and intelligence on another and reliable source. (By the way, to be completely honest in this very case, I should say one only sure thing: 1947+.) I let you choose between Sykebil and Ambulanse. -- Last edit: 2016-01-07 15:40:52 |
