Front: 1974-1988 Unknown/Wayne Lifeguard school bus Back: 1973?-1982? Ford B-700/Thomas school bus EDIT: the front is a 1974-1988 indicated by the horizotnally spaced taillights rather than vertical on 1971-1973, and before 1989 since it had one visor over each warning lamp rather than one that goes over both on each side. So this rules out an International 3800 but thats about it. -- Last edit: 2007-02-06 21:55:19 |

By "front" you mean in foreground on the picture, or in front of the other one? (as they are seen from rear...) |

Yeah I meant in front of the other one. Not sure if the Lifeguard (in front) plays a prominent role enough to be listed seperatly. |

The rear bus is a 1979 model. It's currently listed for sale on EBAY: Link to "cgi.ebay.com" |

The bus in question is a 1979 B 700 Ford (not a 1973), Thomas body with a 370 v8 motor has an automatic trans. needs minor carb fine tuning because it sits long periods of time & not used.Tires bump a little when cold.(tires are worth more than the e-bay bid) Bus has p/s & air brakes & drives good. It could also use a good bath & tlc then drive anywhere. Note: flashing lights have been disabled & side stop sign removed per Ga. law. I know this because I purchased this bus direct from Berry College. I have title on this bus. When in service on Berry Campus the bus was used by its Camp Windshape. Will some one please correct the year of bus over the picture? Note: both buses are B700 Ford -- Last edit: 2008-02-09 14:44:47 |
