I don't believe it is a Sandman. Just a regular Holden Panelvan. Sandman was a sports model based on regular Holden panelvan, but with sports stripes, wheels, dash etc. Sandman's were released to cash in on the van culture among young buyers, especially surfers. Ford had a limited model sports Panelvan called the Sundowner, which was available on the Falcon, Escort and Transit vans, and Chrysler released a sports pack for the Valiant vans, as well as a limited edition called the Drifter. -- Last edit: 2007-01-07 02:27:27 |

"Kingswood Panel Van" as chrome trim is seen on the tail lights and it appears to have the Kingswood grille. Looks pretty beat up for only a 5 year old van! -- Last edit: 2020-05-28 07:57:23 |

It could be an earlier van, updated with later lights/grill. Not an uncommon mod to do. |
