Sorry, the blue one closest in the shot. Montego perhaps? |

1984-89 Rover 200? |

The leading car is an Austin Montego, followed by a Triumph possibly Dolomite. |

Montego [LM11] for me. The rear glass, C pillar and boot height looks similar to Montego (its seen slightly clearer here /vehicle_72078-Austin-Maestro-LM10.html ). The Rover 200 is close but the boot is more stepped-up I think, the blue car seems to be more in-line. |

But the Montego has a third window behind the rear door, which this car doesn't have. http://www.maestro.org.uk/montego/press5.jpg |

But its not an actual 'third-window' rather an extended rear glass adding two wrap-around glasses. The overhang of the rear roof is visible as is the rear-glass line as it meets the boot this shows the depth is consistant with the three-part rear glass on the Montego. -- Last edit: 2006-12-06 12:37:47 |

Or its twin, the Honda Civic. |

Agree on Rover 213/216 probably not a Civic rare in Europe |

Rare but the Honda Civic sedan was sold in Great-Britain. The "hero" of the BBC series "One foot in the grave" drove one for a while. -- Last edit: 2006-12-06 23:08:37 |

Not R8, the Mk1 200's codename was SD3 |

Did the 213 have a rubber-plate on the dashboard? I have such a rubber with a Rover-logo on my desk for pencils. I've stolen it some years ago on a scrapyard. |

100% no Montegos in that pic |
