Looks very much like Hispano-Suiza but the badge looks strange. |

certain resemblances are there, but the badge is completely different.. http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/images/large/2213-4.jpg + no mascot on the front is also suspicious.. this torpedo is also very close http://www.supercars.net/gallery/119513/903/434020.jpg even the radiator shape is completely same. The only thing that bothers me is the badge.. -- Last edit: 2006-10-23 17:05:59 |

well after some research - on todays afternoon I saw about 100 Isottas - this one has emblem which is NOT Isotta Fraschini. On the other hand the car looks very similar to late 20s Tipo 8As.. Anyway the car is Dual Cowl Phaeton Boattail. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() things to notice - Isotta had the instruments in the middle, this seems to have them on all dashboard. on the second pic is visible some kind of mark on the wood of door - _ below that *** and below that written L in handwriting. -- Last edit: 2006-10-23 22:09:12 |

The lights look French - maybe the car is a Delage - model CO2 maybe? |

the fact is, that the first suggestion by Raul on Hispano Suiza will be probably right.. http://www.oldwoodies.com/gallery-french2skiff.htm maybe as the car is obviously customized (the monogram on the door etc) the owenr also decided to replace the grill badge for his own?? Anyway the first car in that link looks pretty much similar to ours one here. (http://www.oldwoodies.com/img/world/21hispano-h6b_duquesne.jpg) or this http://www.ktsmotorsportsgarage.com/rodeo98/images/fullsize/hisp22c.jpg only thing, that bothers me, is the difference of instrument panels on H6s I saw recently on web... ![]() -- Last edit: 2007-03-14 21:49:04 |

I don't think its a Hispano suiza: the emblem is wrong and the bonnet is too square - HS were more rounded at the corners. -- Last edit: 2007-03-14 22:37:20 |

well all major details except the badge seems to fit - the ventilation on the bonnet, the shape of grille, the headlights... |

I agree wickey, it seems to have most everything except the damn badge. Its driving me crazy because I have seen a similar badge but simply can't remember where. Give me until tomorrow, if I can't find something else we will call it a HS. ![]() |

Well I found a Delage that also looks like this car, but again the badge seems wrong. ![]() A 1924 Delage Boattail Labourdette: http://www.motoringpicturelibrary.com/docs/hi-mpl340001469c.jpg |
