I believe this is the military M38. Appears to have the extended headlight base. Appears to have tool slot indentations on passenger side for axe & shovel. Rear view shows flush mounted tail lights (not correct mil spec lights but the mounting base is recessed into the body). Rear view also shows 4 holes in the left side of tail gate where liquid container bracket was mounted. Not visible is aux battery box on cowl or fording/power access panel on right side of hood. Most features indicate the Willys M38. |
