Date is presumably the base car - a 2 litre Cortina??

We just bought this car and it is in really good condition but we are having a few problems with what we think is an imobiliser.
Any ideas????

I've added you as owner of the car, do you have more information about it and pictures of it as it is now?

As for your problem, I would be surprised if it was immobiliser issue as the car should be Cortina based (which was before the time of ECUs and immobilisers). Maybe it is an ignition related problem? It's probably better to ask on kit car or classic Ford forums than here.

Thinking of selling because we are getting a little long in the tooth and our old bones are suggesting we should find a more comfortable cruiser.
We will miss the Douglas Leopard and all the attention she receives but she needs a much younger (and shorter) owner.
As I said... thinking of selling... but we dont really want to... because we love the car.
We will have to find a suitably exceptional replacement before we would let her go.

We are now selling the Lost Leopard because we have just purchased a 1972 Rover P5B which is more suited to our lesser need for speed and greater need for comfort.
